The US Treasury reported a deficit of $173.3 billion (vs $205 billion expected) in November, down -52.8% YoY from the $366.8 billion deficit in November 2024.

• Total receipts were up 11.3% YoY to $336.0 billion, and total outlays were down -23.8% YoY to $509.3 billion.
• The YTD FY26 deficit of $457.6 billion is down -26.7% YoY from $624.2 billion in the same period in FY25.
• Total customs duties were $30.8 billion in November, and on a YTD basis are up 343.4% YoY.
