The Chicago Fed National Activity Index increased to -0.12 in November from -0.50 in October (revised up down from -0.40). Production indicators improved from -0.31 to -0.08, and employment indicators improved from -0.09 to -0.01. The sales and consumption were both barely negative at -0.02 each. Broadly, economic data showed slightly better conditions in November as 55 indicators improved over the month vs 29 that deteriorated.
