Japanese investors reported net buying of foreign long-term debt totaling ¥435.2 billion in the week of April 19th, the largest week of buying since the week of March 1st.

• Total investment in foreign equities was ¥133.8 billion, the sixth straight week of net buying by Japanese investors.
• Total foreign investment in Japanese equities and Japanese long-term debt was ¥278.3 billion and ¥1,600.0 billion respectively.
