Japanese investors reported net buying of foreign long-term debt totaling ¥223.7 billion in the week of April 19th, the first week of net buying since the week of March 1st.

• Total investment in foreign equities was ¥610.4 billion, the fifth straight week of net buying by Japanese investors.
• Total foreign investment in Japanese equities and Japanese long-term debt was ¥705.6 billion and ¥1,000.7 billion respectively.
