ADP Weekly Preliminary Employment Report: Week of May 26th

ADP estimates that US private employers added an average of 35,750 in the four weeks to May 9th, down from 40,750 in the four weeks to May 2nd.
- According to the latest weekly ADP Pulse data point, the pace of hiring slowed slightly to a four-week average of 35,750 as of May 9th. Despite the slowdown, private sector job growth is still ahead of where it was in Q1 2026.
- ADP also revised down last week's data point from 42,250 to 40,750, still a series high.
