The MTSI Manufacturing PMI General PMI Composite Index weakened slightly to -0.47 in October (from -0.43 in September), reflecting a modest deepening in contraction as demand indicators improved and price pressures were roughly stable, with all PMIs reported.
- The Shipments and Production indexes both moved from moderately negative readings to slightly positive readings, suggesting an improvement in operating conditions.
