France Consumer Confidence: February 2025
France’s consumer confidence indicator edged up from 92 in January to 93 in February, the highest since October 2024.
- The past and future financial situation indexes improved, by 2 pts to 20 and by 5 pts to -4 respectively.
- French consumers expect their savings capacity in improve, up 2 pts to 15, and thus, increased their savings intentions, up 4 pts to 43.
- Assessments of French living standards were unchanged, past at -70 and future at -47.
- Expectations of inflation remain weak, down -1 pt to -44 with consumers reporting lower inflation in the past (past consumer prices index down -5 pts to -5).
