Expectations for the economy over the next 12 months slipped 1 pt to -30, a sharp -15 pts lower than a year ago.

The Major Purchase Index rose 2 pts to -13 (unchanged YoY), while the Savings Index fell -4 pts to +30, 3 pts below Aug 2024.
