Spain’s retail sales were up 1.3% MoM and 3.6% YoY in February, up from 2.3% YoY in January.

• Food sales were up 0.6% MoM and non-food sales were up 1.6% MoM.
• Excluding gas station sales, retail sales were up 0.7% MoM as gas sales were up 0.4% MoM.
• Retail employment fell -0.6% MoM but was still up 1.3% YoY.
