The MTSI Manufacturing PMI Composite Index eased from -0.94 in May to -1.00 in June with all manufacturing PMIs reported.
- The New Orders index rebounded strongly in May, but has given back those gains in June.
- Employment also improved in May to near the historical average at -0.15, but June employment readings have weakened once again.
- The Prices Paid index dropped slightly from a near term peak of 0.86 in April to 0.76 in June.
- The Prices Received index had cooled according to earlier PMIs, but with all data reported, the index increased to 1.06, the highest since August 2022.
