Existing home sales jumped 4.8% MoM in November at an annual rate of 4.15 million, the fastest pace since March and above expectations of an annual rate of 3.96 million. Sales were up 6.1% YoY, the fastest pace since June 2021. The median sales prices was up 4.7% YoY. Housing inventory fell -2.9% MoM to 1.33 million units or 3.8 months supply, down from 4.2 months supply in October. First time homebuyers made up 30% of sales, up from 27% in October.
