- The Household Finance Index rose to 43.6, driven by a 7-month high in future expectations (46.5) despite current finances slipping to a 2-month low (40.7).
- The Labour Market Sentiment Index increased to 52.4, supported by gains in job security (50.3) and workplace activity (54.1), though income growth slowed to a 4-month low (52.9).
- Debt levels surged, with the level of debt index rising to a 15-month high of 52.1, while credit access improved slightly.
- The Spending Sentiment Index ticked up to 37.7, a 2-month high, as cash available to spend rose, but intent to make major purchases fell to a 3-month low.
- The Savings Index declined to 42.7, a 2-month low, reflecting ongoing pressure on household financial cushions.
