The UK Halifax House Price Index was flat at 0.0% MoM in June 2025, following a -0.3% MoM decline in May, while annual price growth slowed slightly to +2.5% YoY from +2.6% in May.

• The average house price dipped marginally to £296,665 from £296,782 in May.
• Quarterly price change was -0.3%, unchanged from the prior month.
• Northern Ireland led regional gains with +9.6% YoY growth; Scotland followed at +4.9% YoY.
• London saw subdued growth of just +0.6% YoY but remained the most expensive region at £540,048.
• Mortgage approvals rose +3.9% MoM and +3.3% YoY to 63,032 in May; property transactions increased +25.1% MoM but were still down -11.8% YoY.
