France’s trade balance fell from -€3.5 billion in December to -€6.5 billion in January, below expectations of a -€4.1 billion balance.

• Exports fell -4.6% MoM but were up 2.1% YoY.
• Imports increased 1.2% MoM and 0.5% YoY.
