The French trade balance improved to -€3.9 billion in December, up from -€6.3 billion in November and better than the -€5.3 billion that was expected.

• Exports increased 4.0% MoM and 0.5% YoY and were up 2.7% QoQ in Q4 2024.
• Imports fell -0.8% MoM and -1.3% YoY but were mostly unchanged in Q4 at 0.1% QoQ.
