French business births rose +3.3% MoM in June 2025, accelerating from +0.8% in May, with gains across all business types.

• Micro-entrepreneur registrations jumped +4.1% MoM, company creations rebounded +1.8%, and traditional sole proprietorships rose +1.6%.
• Births surged in construction (+14.1% MoM) and industry (+13.1%), while real estate (-4.9%) and trade (-1.7%) declined.
• Business births over the past three months rose +2.6% YoY, driven by companies (+6.0%) and micro-entrepreneurs (+2.6%); sole proprietorships fell -6.2%.
• Specialized distance selling added +2,800 births YoY; construction births were down -1,300 over the same period.
• Over the past twelve months, total business births were nearly flat (+0.2% YoY), with companies up +2.9%, micro-entrepreneurs up +1.3%, and sole proprietorships down -12.8%.
