The Drewry World Container Index increased 2% WoW to $2,208 last week after 11 straight weeks of declines.

• Rates in routes from China to the US jumped over the last week: Shanghai-LA up 10% WoW and Shanghai-NY up 8% WoW.
• All other routes saw declines with the largest in the Rotterdam-Shanghai route (-7% WoW) and Shanghai-Genoa route (-4% WoW).
