The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 1.6% in May 2026 compared with April 2026, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was up 1.8% compared with May 2025.
