The OECD Consumer Barometer saw a slight increase in December of +0.03, the first since July.

• G7 sentiment improved 0.07 in December, the first increase since July and the strongest since June.
• The improvement in US sentiment drove the increases in OECD and G7 sentiment, rising 0.15 in December after many months of weakening.
• OECD Europe sentiment was once again unchanged and hasn’t moved much since May.
