Canada’s preliminary estimate of wholesale sales in March projects a -0.3% MoM decline which would be the first decline since August 2024.

• The decline reflects lower sales in five of the seven subsectors.
• This estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 64.8%. The average final response rate to the survey over the 12 preceding months was 82.2%.
