  • CPI goods inflation rose to +2.9% YoY (Aug: +2.8%), while CPI services remained steady at +4.7% YoY.

  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation slowed to +4.5% YoY (Aug: +5.1%) and fell -0.2% MoM, contributing to downward pressure on the headline rate.

  • Transport prices accelerated to +3.8% YoY (Aug: +2.4%) but declined -2.3% MoM, still providing the largest upward impact on the overall CPI rate.

  • Clothing and footwear inflation strengthened to +0.5% YoY (Aug: +0.2%) and rose +2.4% MoM, reflecting seasonal price movements.

  • Housing and household services inflation remained high at +7.3% YoY (Aug: +7.4%), continuing to support overall price levels.

  • Recreation and culture prices slowed to +2.7% YoY (Aug: +3.2%), while restaurants and hotels inflation edged up to +3.9% YoY (Aug: +3.8%).
