The advance estimate of Canada’s manufacturing sales in August showed a -1.5% MoM decline in August, partially reversing the strong 1.8% MoM increase in July.

• This estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 68.2%.
• The average final response rate for the survey over the previous 12 months has been 93.1%.
