Spain’s retail sales rose 1.1% MoM and 6.2% YoY in June 2025 (seasonally and calendar adjusted), with annual growth accelerating by 1.2 points from May.

• Both food and non-food product sales increased 1.2% MoM.
• Retail sales excluding service stations also rose 1.1% MoM.
• Small chain stores posted the largest MoM gain at 2.5%; e-commerce sales declined -0.6% MoM.
• Retail employment rose 2.1% YoY, continuing steady labor market strength in the sector.
