Spain CPI: June 2025 (Final)
Spain’s CPI rose 0.7% MoM and 2.3% YoY in June 2025, revised up from the initial estimate of 0.6% MoM and 2.2% YoY.
- HICP inflation was 0.7% MoM and 2.3% YoY, also revised up from 0.6% MoM and 2.2% YoY.
- Core inflation held steady at 2.2% YoY.
- Transport inflation rose to -0.8% YoY (from -2.0%), driven by higher fuel prices.
- Housing inflation rose to 4.2% YoY on gains in gas and liquid fuel prices.
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation accelerated to 2.8% YoY, due to rising meat and seafood prices.
- MoM, tourist package prices pushed leisure and culture up 2.2%, contributing 0.186 pts to the CPI.
