The final report for Japanese industrial production showed a 2.8% MoM and 1.4% YoY increase in October. Shipments were up 2.6% MoM and 0.4% YoY, and inventories were flat on the month. Capacity utilization broadly increased 2.6% MoM but was basically the same as the previous year.
