US durable goods new orders fell -2.2% MoM in December after another weak reading of -2.0% MoM in November. This was below expectations of an increase of 0.8% MoM. The annual change in the headline new orders total is now negative at -1.5% YoY. Excluding transportation orders, new order growth was 0.3% MoM which is still a below analyst expectations of an 0.4% MoM increase.
