The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index fell -0.8% MoM in December and was up 0.4% YoY. The long-term average for an annual increase is 2.3% which suggests 2024 saw significantly cooler-than-average growth in wholesale used-vehicle prices. Retail used-vehicle sales were flat in December but ended up 13% YoY.
