Spain’s Market Services Sector turnover fell -0.1% MoM in April and rose 2.7% YoY, a slowdown from March’s pace.

• Trade turnover rose 5.1% YoY, while Other Services increased 1.9% YoY.
• Within trade, wholesale trade (except motor vehicles) grew the fastest at +3.1% MoM, followed by wholesale and retail motor vehicle trade (+2.5% MoM).
• Transportation and storage declined -1.8% MoM; real estate activities dropped sharply by -5.0% MoM.
• Professional, scientific, and technical activities edged down -0.3% MoM, while information and communication rose 0.3% MoM.
• Accommodation and food services fell -0.5% MoM, marking a second straight monthly decline.
