Spain’s service sector production increased by 4.2% YoY in January after adjusting for seasonal and calendar effects, up from 2.1% YoY in December and the highest since March 2023.

• Production rose by 1.5% MoM in January, recovering from stagnation in December and the highest since April 2024.
• Original (unadjusted) series showed a 4.3% YoY rise, up from 3.9% YoY in December.
• Trade turnover increased by 4.7% YoY, and Other Services were up 4.2% YoY (adjusted).
