Italy’s construction production fell -1.4% MoM in May 2025, reversing part of the gains seen in prior months.

• Output was up 1.5% QoQ in the three months to May 2025.
• The calendar-adjusted index rose 3.9% YoY in May, while the unadjusted index increased just 0.3% YoY.
• Year-to-date (Jan–May), construction output was up 4.0% YoY on a calendar-adjusted basis and 1.7% unadjusted.
