The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 0.6% in August 2026 compared with July 2026, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar-adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was up 2.0% compared with August 2025.
