Big 6 Central Bank Activity

The charts represent the recent interest rate decisions of the six of the world's largest central banks: the Fed, the ECB, the BoJ, the BoE, the BoC, and the RBA. The chart on the left shows activity by the number of decisions (+1 for hike, -1 for cut), and the chart on the right shows the net magnitude of that activity by summing the total amount of hiking (positive values) and the total amount of cutting (negative values).
