Germany’s Manufacturing PMI Export Conditions Index rose to 51.5 in August 2025 from 50.7 in July, its strongest level since May 2024, though still only a modest improvement relative to the long-run average.

Export conditions have now improved for seven consecutive months, supported by stronger private sector output in developed markets.
