  • The U.S. average gasoline price held steady at $3.03/gal this week (-2.0¢ MoM; +2.5¢ YoY), reflecting stable conditions ahead of peak Thanksgiving travel as crude prices softened below $60 per barrel.

    • Diesel rose +0.8¢ WoW to $3.777/gal, with the most common diesel price jumping to $3.79, indicating mild upward pressure in the national diesel market.

    • WTI crude traded at $58.12/bbl (down from $60.35 last Monday) and Brent at $62.62/bbl (down from $64.63), showing continued weakness amid geopolitical developments and a broader risk-off tone.

    • U.S. crude inventories fell -3.4M bbl and remain about 5% below the seasonal average, while gasoline inventories rose +2.3M bbl and distillates +0.2M bbl, both still below their five-year norms.

    • Refinery utilization increased to 90.0% (+0.6 ppts), while implied gasoline demand fell to 8.528M bpd (-500k bpd), suggesting a temporary drop in consumption ahead of the holiday surge.

    • The median gas price held at $2.89/gal (14¢ below the national average); Oklahoma ($2.45), Mississippi ($2.53), and Louisiana ($2.55) remained the lowest-priced states.

    • California ($4.56), Hawaii ($4.37), and Washington ($4.09) were the most expensive, while Ohio saw the largest weekly move with a -25.6¢ drop.

    • Diesel prices remained highly dispersed, from $3.26 in Texas to $5.16 in Hawaii, with New Mexico (+11.4¢) and Florida (+10.2¢) posting the largest increases.
