The Freddie Mac House Price Index was up 0.47% YoY in February, down from 0.77% YoY in January (revised up from 0.49% YoY in last month’s data).

The index dropped -0.15% MoM in February, the largest drop since 2023. The last few months have seen upward revisions, flipping slight monthly declines to slight gains.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index was up just 0.49% YoY in January, down from 0.89% YoY in December, setting another new low since 2012.

The index dropped -0.13% MoM in January, the first decline since August 2025 and the largest MoM drop in several years.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index was up just 0.75% YoY in December, down from 0.99% YoY in November. This YoY growth is another new low since 2012.

On a monthly basis, the index was basically unchanged (+0.03% MoM), after two slightly stronger increases in October and November around 0.1% MoM.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index was up 1.03% YoY in November, basically unchanged from the 1.04% YoY increase in October. This is the weakest growth in house prices since 2012.

House prices increased 0.19% MoM in November, essentially the same as in October. The MoM declines in Q1 and Q2 continued to be revised up. The slight decline in April has been revised up to a tiny gain of 0.02% MoM.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index increased 0.13% MoM and 1.0% YoY in October, down from 1.1% YoY in September. Annual growth in September was revised up from 0.9% YoY in its initial estimate to 1.1% YoY in the October update.

The seasonally adjusted monthly rates saw upward revisions in September and August. The last estimates had home prices falling MoM in both months, but the latest estimate puts monthly growth for September and August at +0.04% MoM and +0.10% MoM, respectively.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index saw a slight decline of -0.04% MoM and was up 0.9% YoY in September, down from 1.2% YoY in August and the lowest annual growth since 2012. The index has fallen six straight months, though the declines have been small.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index increased 0.10% MoM and was up 1.5% YoY in August, down from 1.6% YoY in July and the lowest annual growth since May 2023.

On a monthly basis, the index increased 0.10% MoM, the highest since February 2025. Data revisions pushed up the monthly declines in the previous five months due to new data.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index fell -0.22% MoM and was only up 1.44% YoY in July, down from 1.81% YoY in June.

The seasonally adjusted index saw its 5th consecutive decline and the 3rd monthly drop of -0.2% MoM or lower in that series of declines.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index fell -0.20% MoM in May, and the annual rate slowed from 2.25% YoY in May to 1.98% YoY, the weakest since June 2023.
- This is the fourth straight monthly decline, and the third straight monthly decline at or below -0.2%.

The Freddie Mac House Price Index was basically unchanged at 0.01% MoM and 3.01% YoY in March, down from a 3.39% YoY increase in February, revised up from 3.36% YoY. The February monthly rate was revised down from 0.18% MoM to a decline of -0.11% MoM.
