The Freddie Mac House Price Index fell -0.20% MoM in May, and the annual rate slowed from 2.25% YoY in May to 1.98% YoY, the weakest since June 2023.
- This is the fifth straight monthly decline, and the fourth straight monthly decline at or below -0.2%.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index fell -0.23% MoM in May, and the annual rate slowed from 2.53% YoY in April to 2.23% YoY, the weakest since July 2023.
- This is the fourth straight monthly decline, and the third straight monthly decline below -0.2%.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index fell -0.15% MoM in April, and the annual rate slowed from 2.94% YoY in March to 2.62% YoY, the weakest since July 2023.
- This is the third straight monthly decline as the March increase was revised down from +0.01% MoM to -0.19% MoM.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index was basically unchanged at 0.01% MoM and 3.01% YoY in March, down from a 3.39% YoY increase in February, revised up from 3.36% YoY. The February monthly rate was revised down from 0.18% MoM to a decline of -0.11% MoM.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index was up 0.18% MoM and 3.36% YoY in February, down from a 3.60% YoY increase in January, revised down from 3.90% YoY. The January monthly rate was revised down from 0.40% MoM to 0.24% MoM.
The Freddie Mac US House Price Index increased 0.4% MoM and 3.9% YoY in January, down from 4.1% YoY in December and the lowest since June 2024.
The Freddie Mac House Price Index increased 0.5% MoM and 3.9% YoY in December. Both rates are the same as what was reported in November. The index has increased by at least 0.5% MoM in the four months since the Fed’s first 50 bps rate cut in September.
