• In the euro area, building construction fell -1.4% MoM, while civil engineering rose +0.5% MoM and specialised construction activities gained +1.2% MoM.

• In the EU, building construction declined -1.3% MoM, but civil engineering increased +0.7% MoM and specialised activities rose +0.8% MoM.

• Romania (+20.1% MoM), Slovenia (+9.9% MoM), and Belgium (+2.2% MoM) posted the strongest monthly growth, while Spain (-4.5% MoM), Sweden (-4.0% MoM), and Portugal (-1.5% MoM) saw notable declines.
